Purpose:
To prevent or minimize harm to human health and safety caused by natural disasters or unforeseen emergencies in facilities, high-rise buildings, and multi-location workplaces.
Scope:
Emergency management refers to an effective emergency action plan that outlines the conditions, methods, and procedures for fulfilling obligations to employees, customers, suppliers, and third parties during urgent and unexpected situations. This includes risk identification, development of solution proposals, formation of response teams and plans, provision of necessary training, conducting annual drills, and periodic auditing of the established system.
A critical component of emergency management within any facility or organization is the “Training, Drills, and Audits” phase. This phase ensures the system operates effectively. Trainings consist of two parts: theoretical and simulation-based, covering emergency response teams, crisis management committees, and both white-collar and blue-collar employees.
